If you are bald, why? If you love bald women, why do you love them?
I am bald because I have alopecia areata. Alopecia is a medical condition which has only one symptom- your hair falls out. There is no cause or cure. I have had it since I was 10. For me it's been patches of hair that have fallen out (and grown back, it comes and goes). I made the decision to shave my head about 5-6 years ago as a way of "taking back control" of something I have had no control over for many years. It was the best thing I ever did and now the only reason I miss hair is because sometimes I get cold!

I have always been someone with a lot of hair. I am a bit shy and my hair is something that I hide behind. Along with purity I see great courage with being bald and I admire that.

Wed, March 31, 2004 - 8:40 PMWhy do I dig bald women? Any of a number of reasons, I'd imagine. Partially it's that I find bald women sexy -- credit or blame Persis Khambatta on the 1st Star Trek movie for that. :-)
I dig simplicity and a bald head is the ultimate in simplicity. I like how a bald head draws one into the other facial features, especially the eyes. The nonconformity thing is a factor. I've always been attracted to women who are just a bit different from the norm.
I'm sure the list goes on. :-) -

I see an attractive bald woman and I can't stop thinking about her for the rest of the day. Actually, I first realized it before Sinead, when I made an amends to an ex-girlfriend on the phone and she told me she'd shaved her head. I got unexplainably turned on. -

But what really did it for me was that Bjork video. Now my heart races every time I see a bald woman walking down the street. I can't help it.
It's like Rain said, it's something about purity. Not purity in the christian religious sense, but in some other, deeper sense. Uh, yeah. I'm not making any sense. I guess I'll just drop it. -

Er, sorry 'bout that. One of the reasons I shave my head is because I like how it feels to ME. To be with a woman who does the same... is almost to much for me to take. Sensory overload, one might say.:D
